Recognizing that many people are confused over what is changing in health care, given new national legislation, SAVE THE PATIENT is hosting another community show to bring education, insights and resources to the Chicago public.

On Monday, April 19 at 6:00 p.m., Chicago Access Network (CAN-TV), Channel 21, will air a live call-in program, "Community Health," focusing on impact of new health care reforms.

Host Lenore Janecek, president and founder of SAVE THE PATIENT, and Pamela Mitroff, MBA, president of Pamela D. Mitroff Consulting, Inc., director of Public Relations and Communications of Secure Services Corporation (SSC) and current chair of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, will discuss the impact of new health care legislation on the ordinary person -- what is changing and how it is likely to impact our lives.

Viewers, who wish to join in discussions can call-in to pose their questions.

Lenore Janecek is a nationally known health care expert, patient advocate and author, who founded SAVE THE PATIENT, a not-for-profit patient advocacy organization, in 2001. Mitroff is a licensed Illinois insurance producer, knowledgeable of the many aspects of health care insurance, patient privacy and new legislative changes.
