LAB Research Inc. ("LAB" or "LAB Research"), (TSX: LRI), a Canadian-based global non-clinical contract research organization ("CRO"), today announced that it has completed an exclusive radiotherapy partnership with DMV Veterinary Centre ("DMV") creating a dedicated research platform.

According to the World Health Organization, it is expected that cancer will soon overtake cardiovascular diseases as a leading cause of mortality. Recent advances in the field of oncology and immunology modulators, involving a number of drug candidates in the class of biologics, have led to a new generation of approved drugs with positive safety profiles.

"The field of radiotherapy and oncology is yet another highly specialized scientific area of research in which we have established recognized leadership and expertise in the past few years. Our exclusive partnership with DMV gives us timely access to required infrastructure to support our clients research projects and allows us to successfully pursue our strategy of launching and implementing highly profitable, scientifically complex and industry differentiating services. We intend to be at the forefront of this fast growing and very promising area of scientific research over the coming years as we keep expanding our potential client audience", commented Luc Mainville, President and Chief Executive Officer of LAB Research.

"LAB Research is recognized for its scientific leadership and is the perfect partner to help us launch our new radiotherapy services" said Dr. Caroline de Jaham, Director, Professional Services of DMV Veterinary Centre.
