The Vascular Disease Foundation (VDF) announced today that Life Line Screening, Inc. (LLS) has become a corporate partner and joined the foundation as a sponsor.

This partnership brings together the combined strengths of VDF's unparalleled expertise in vascular disease and educational resources with Life Line Screening's unique vascular testing service, commitment to quality service, and marketing capability to help VDF spread the message about vascular health.

As the leading provider of community-based health screenings in the country, Life Line Screening will provide online registration to enable their customers to make a tax-deductable donation to VDF. This will extend VDF's message to thousands and help raise awareness of vascular health. In addition, Life Line Screening will distribute VDF education and information publications at each of their screening sites which serve over 800,000 clients.

"The marketing and community-based nature of Life Line Screening provides us with high exposure to a critical audience at risk for vascular disease," said Sheryl Benjamin, Executive Director of VDF. "VDF strives to educate the public about risk factors, symptoms and treatments for vascular disease. Reaching the public is challenging. Life Line Screening, with its marketing expertise and willingness to use its extensive network and resources, will be a powerful partner to help those at risk for vascular disease to seek detection and treatment," said Benjamin.

"Our sponsorship of the Vascular Disease Foundation demonstrates our continued commitment to public education about vascular diseases. We hope that by combining our resources we can reach even more people and facilitate the dissemination of accurate, potentially life-saving information to those who are often in the dark about vascular health and how to protect it," said Colin Scully, CEO of Life Line Screening.
