CDISC approves Nextrials as one of 15 registered solutions providers

Nextrials, Inc., a leader in clinical research software and services, has been approved by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) as one of 15 registered solutions providers, and is the only company offering an electronic data capture (EDC) product supporting the CDISC Healthcare Link Initiative. Begun in 2005, the CDISC Healthcare Link Initiative focuses on the interoperability of electronic health records (EHR) platforms with EDC technology for clinical trials.

Nextrials’ award-winning Prism™, an EDC and clinical trial management platform, fully supports CDISC standards and has successfully demonstrated its interoperability with EHR through industry showcases at the Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference and Exhibition, the Annual IHE North America Connectathon, the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) Annual Conference and the Annual Meeting of the Drug Information Association. It is also the only platform successfully used in a multi-site study where real-time, live patient data was collected and shared by what had previously been two disparate data management platforms.
