ACM Global Central Laboratory, the global central lab that continually defines the customer-service standard with its flexible approach, has renewed its College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation for the third time based on the results of a recent onsite inspection.

ACM Global was awarded accreditation renewal after passing the stringent inspection at the company's wholly owned facilities in York, England. Inspection processes consists of examining quality control procedures and lab records including staff qualifications, equipment, health and safety along with the overall management of the facility. This rigorous process is designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients of central labs worldwide, and is considered equal or more stringent than the U.S. federal government's own inspection program.

"Receiving CAP accreditation renewal for the third time is a noteworthy achievement for ACM Global, as it clearly demonstrates our dedication to high level performance and best practices as a central lab. As with all of our regional lab locations, we ensure that these high standards are strictly enforced to deliver quality results from a centralized database," said Dr. D'Souza.

The European arm of ACM Global serves the regions of Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Israel, South Africa and Australia. ACM Global provides extensive laboratory facilities offering a full range of routine and esoteric testing services.
