Kal Vaikla appointed as Chief Executive by The Learning Clinic

Health improvement company The Learning Clinic has appointed Kal Vaikla as Chief Executive, with immediate effect.

Mr Vaikla has long experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as Managing Director of Oasis Medical Systems. He has also worked for McKesson, Phillips and GE Healthcare, with significant experience internationally and in the UK.

The Learning Clinic chairman Stephen Murphy said:

The Board are very pleased to have attracted a leader of Kal’s calibre and background to take the company forward.

Kal Vailka said:

I am delighted to be joining The Learning Clinic at this exciting time in its development. Our new, more powerful VitalPAC Doctor offering and patient management tool VitalFLO will enable us to take the company to a new level of growth, building on the success of our industry-leading system VitalPAC Nurse.

The Learning Clinic’s products enable clinicians to capture, assess and act on clinical data at the patient, ward and hospital level. The system is in use in 50 hospitals across England and recently celebrated capturing 100 million patient observations over the past 10 years. The company employs 65 clinicians, technologists and other experts in London and Exeter.
