Qureight expands with addition of second site, to accommodate rapid growth and ongoing development of chest Foundation Model

Qureight, an end-to-end imaging company that provides enterprise-grade imaging and precision endpoints for clinical trials with a focus on lung and heart disease, today announced the opening of its new office space in London, UK. The expansion into a second site will accommodate the Company's ongoing recruitment and platform technology development, to meet demand for its imaging CRO services across a broader range of lung and heart diseases.

Qureight has seen a period of sustained growth and rapid increase in demand for its imaging CRO services over the past two years, quadrupling the number of FTEs from 15 to 60. The Company is supporting biopharma clients globally  with an increasing number of clinical trials, including late-stage assets. The central London location in Holborn was strategically selected to support the Company's rapid scale-up, housing many of the new members of its expanding machine learning and data scientist teams, with a focus on development of the 3D chest Foundation Model and AI imaging laboratory.

The next-generation imaging platform will expand the Company's existing suite of compartment-specific imaging computed tomography biomarkers for fibrotic lung diseases, enabling the rapid development of new chest imaging biomarkers. This forms part of the Company's ongoing strategy to expand its market reach across key new therapeutic areas, including asthma, pulmonary hypertension, bronchiectasis, and drug-induced lung toxicity.

The expansion to a second site aligns with Qureight's mission to work with biopharma companies and healthcare organizations to improve clinical trial design and accelerate the development of novel therapeutics. This will enable the Company to rapidly scale its commercial and clinical operations to advance the integration of its AI-powered imaging analysis into clinical trials across therapeutic areas where there is high demand for advanced imaging analytics.

"Empowered by our end-to-end, regulatory compliant, disease-agnostic clinical trials platform, Qureight is focused on redefining how lung and heart disease are tracked in clinical trials to accelerate the development of new therapies where there is high unmet medical need," commented Dr Muhunthan Thillai, MD PhD, Co-founder and CEO, Qureight. "Establishing our second site in the UK accommodates expansion of our world-class team of ML engineers and data scientists. The development of our Foundation Model is key to enabling us to enter new markets and solidify our position as a leading imaging company."

Opening Qureight's new office in London is a significant milestone. We selected London as the location for our second site to access an extensive pool of machine learning, commercial and clinical operations talent, who will complement our incredible workforce based at our headquarters in Cambridge. I look forward to welcoming new members to the team to support our ongoing mission to revolutionize clinical trials and accelerate drug development through our AI-powered solutions."
